Every April, Mountain Springs Lake Resort celebrates trout season with Saturday stocking and the Fish To Win Challenge on our private spring-fed lake.
Registered resort guests can fish during their stay, and each Saturday in April brings a new Grand Prize Golden Trout to the lake. Catch a qualifying Golden Trout during the challenge and win a complimentary future three-night stay, subject to the current challenge terms.

Fish During the Challenge
Fish from approved areas of the private lake during your stay. No Pennsylvania fishing license is required on the resort lake.
Catch a Grand Prize Golden Trout
Golden Trout are the only fish that qualify for the grand prize. One Grand Prize Golden Trout is released each Saturday in April.
Win a Future Three-Night Stay
A qualifying Golden Trout wins a complimentary future three-night stay. The prize has no cash value and applies to a future new reservation, subject to the current challenge terms and restrictions.

A Spring Fishing Tradition at Boat Row
The resort's April stocking tradition takes place at Boat Row on the East Lake side. Stocking includes Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, and a Grand Prize Golden Trout.
The exact number, size, date, and stocking time can vary from year to year. The confirmed annual schedule will be posted on this page before the challenge begins.
