Booking with Affirm as your payment method

Mountain Springs Lake Resort is proud to partner with Affirm to offer flexible payment options for your stay. Many of our guests choose Affirm during booking to spread out payments rather than paying a lump sum upfront. Affirm makes it easy and convenient to book your reservation.

Please note: Affirm approval is determined solely by Affirm and is subject to their policies. If you are declined, Mountain Springs Lake Resort cannot override or modify Affirm’s decision. Affirm will notify you directly via email with further details. This option is only available during the initial booking checkout and cannot be added to an existing reservation.

Qualifying for Affirm

During the booking process, you’ll have the option to prequalify with Affirm at checkout. Affirm will perform a soft credit check (which does not affect your credit score) to determine your eligibility.

  • Approval depends on various factors, and approval amounts may vary.

  • In some cases, Affirm may not cover the full reservation total and will require a down payment via debit card for the remaining balance.

  • Affirm is not available if you add trip insurance to your reservation—removing the insurance will re-enable the option during checkout.

Paying with Affirm

Once approved, you can set up a payment plan directly with Affirm. Most plans are monthly and allow you to choose between:

  • 6-month

  • 12-month

  • 18-month repayment terms

Options and terms may vary based on eligibility and loan amount.

Refunding an Affirm Payment

If you cancel your reservation and are eligible for a refund under our policy, Mountain Springs Lake Resort will coordinate the refund directly with Affirm.

However, our cancellation policy still applies, as outlined below:

Standard Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is:

  • Non-refundable, but

  • May be credited toward a future stay if cancellation terms are met.

The deposit credit must be used within one year of your original stay date. After that one-year period, the credit will be forfeited.

Cancellation Terms:

  • 48+ hours notice before your check-in date:
    You may transfer your 50% deposit to a future reservation scheduled within one year of your original stay date.

  • Less than 48 hours notice:
    All payments, including the deposit, will be forfeited.

  • No-show without notification by noon the day after scheduled arrival:
    Your reservation will be canceled, and all payments will be forfeited.

Important Notes:

  • The deposit cannot be transferred to a different accommodation on a cancelled reservation for the same original dates.
    If you wish to change accommodations for your upcoming stay, please do not cancel. Instead, call our office and we’ll do our best to assist with switching accommodations based on availability.

  • Due to our limited number of accommodations, we do not offer refunds on deposits.

  • Certain restrictions apply to deposit credits and transfer eligibility.
